This policy covers all apps published by Illetro (ABN 25 757 457 608), including Presidents & Scum and Surge Training, and the illetro.com website.
The short version
Illetro apps do not ask for your name, email or contact details, and we do not sell personal information. Games with online play create an anonymous player identity so you can play, keep a username and appear on leaderboards. Some apps show ads through Google AdMob, which involves advertising identifiers as described below.
Information we collect
Inside the apps: no name, email or contact details are collected. Games with online features (including Presidents & Scum and 13) use Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous player identity, and store the data needed for online play on Firebase servers: your chosen username and avatar, game results, leaderboard entries and unlock progress. This identity is not linked to your real-world identity by us. Presidents & Scum also uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, which collect app-usage events, device information and crash reports so we can fix bugs and improve the game.
On our website: if you email support or join a waitlist, we receive what you send (such as your name and email) and use it only to respond or to provide the service you asked about.
Through third-party services: some of our apps display advertising via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process device information such as the advertising identifier, IP address, device model and coarse usage data to serve and measure ads. This collection is governed by Google's policies. Our apps may also use standard platform services (Apple App Store, Google Play) for delivery, crash reporting and in-app purchases, governed by Apple's and Google's own policies.
Health, fitness and location (Surge Training)
Surge Training can track runs with GPS, record workout activity, and read from and write to Apple Health or Health Connect with your permission. This data is processed on your device and saved to your device or your health platform. Illetro does not receive your health, fitness or location data on its servers. Voice coaching is generated entirely on-device; the app makes no network calls to produce speech and has no microphone permission.
Advertising choices
You can limit ad personalisation at the device level: on iOS via Settings, Privacy and Security, Tracking and Apple Advertising; on Android via Settings, Google, Ads. Resetting or deleting your advertising identifier is available in the same places.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention and security
Online-play data (anonymous identity, username, game results) is retained while it is needed to run the game's online features and can be deleted on request. Support emails and waitlist entries are retained only as long as needed to help you or run the service, then deleted on request.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you (typically support correspondence, a waitlist entry, or an anonymous online-play profile), ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email [email protected] and we will action it promptly. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
